Can you believe that, a heavy duty Cummins dually to drift like a car? Honestly, we couldn’t too, because we had too many presumptions about the weight, the rear axle and the dual tires. But, everything fall apart when we saw our 6.7 Cummins dually making some doughnuts drifts.
Judging by the look of the truck it is a 2015 Dodge Ram Dually, a truck from the heavy duty class with 6.7 Cummins under the hood. While many will say that the truck is modded and the torque is increased we would disagree with that. The Cummins dually is capable of spinning its tail so easily thanks to the 6.7-liter I6 turbo diesel engine which delivers 385HP and 865lb-ft of torque, while the weight of the truck is mostly distributed on the front axle. That allows the truck easily spin the lightweight rear end!
If we are wrong please correct us in the comments below. But if you owned a Cummins you know that you don’t need an extra torque power, of course if you don’t plan to join some house removal service and pull hundreds of tons concrete buildings.
What amazed us the most is that the guy with his Dodge Cummins was driving slowly until he entered that more spacious area at the end of that street and we didn’t even expect a doughnut drift but all of a sudden it happened and the truck started to spin like a drift car and we were left with open jaws! After he had enough fun he just stabilized the truck and continued in the opposite direction from where he came from, and that was it!
On the way back he made a fast run and the engine’s sound was echoing like a naturally aspirated V8 engine! Enjoy the video folks!
