As some sources say, the engine of the Devel Sixteen on the dyno pulled 4500+ HP and because the dyno cannot hold more power, they rated the engine at 5000 HP. But we can only guess this because maybe it can pull more than this number, just the engineers need more time make a dyno that can hold such power.
