Limited Slip Differential EXPLAINED PERFECTLY: Clear Explanation On The Working Of LSD With HELP OF ANIMATION!!!

The normal differential that we all have on our loved cars is much different than the limited slip differential or the LSD as the scientists call it. With the conventional differential when the one wheel is stuck on a slippery surface and the other is on a hard surface, the wheel on the slippery one will get excessive power and the other one will remain almost dead. That is a huge problem and the wheel and the car are stuck in the mud and you will need to find a way to give some grip to the stuck wheel.

Now with the limited slip differential there is an option that will give both wheels same amount of power and will not let the wheel to get stuck in some mud. This is a great invention or an addition to the normal differential that has been causing problems for most of the people. Now when you need same amount of power, the limited slip differential will allow that. It has inside the casing of the differential more steel plates with teeth that will rotate together with the main shaft in order to deliver same power to both of the wheels. When you need this feature the clutch will help here, with a hard press on it this system will be activated and you will be back on track in no time.
