The Great Red Shark
Hunter S Thompson’s personal car, a 1971 Chevrolet Impala convertible nicknamed the “The Great Red Shark” was loaned for use in the film, and Johnny Depp actually swapped his own car for Thompson’s, so he could get used to the Impala before the filming of the 1998 movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas started.
