It seems that nowadays even the biggest companies in the world cannot exclude themselves from the cheating stories, but why? Are they don’t earn enough so they need a backup plans to resurrect their profit? Who knows, but hitting directly on the people health in order to get more money it’s unpardonable!

So the this story goes into that direction, the respected VW Group from Germany tried to cheat about the smog emissions thanks to their illegal device which was defeating the results and lowered the pollution rate, according to BBC.

If all this aforementioned and the investigation prove that VW was cheating and their diesel cars emit 40 times more than the standards, the company should recall 500,000 cars including, Jettas, Beetles and Golfs made from 2009 to 2014 and Passats made between 2014 and 2015! This will cost the company additional $18 billion!

Maybe you remember what happened with Kia and Hyundai in 2014, when they were fined with $300 million fee for faking the MPG!

EPA is still reserved about the scandal with VW but they are somehow soft with them and just said that it would be up to VW if they want to recall the cars!
