If some of you still think that the world of remote control hobbies doesn’t offer any fun, allow us to change your mind on that. Today we will introduce you to this amazing turbine RC jet that now holds the Guinness world record. It’s much faster than you may have thought! Behold the fastest turbine RC jet in the world. The flight is amazing and very, I tell you – VERY FAST!
With the help of a Behotec JB 180 Turbine Gold Edition engine, the proud pilot Niels Herbrich from Germany and his remotely controlled jet airplane were able to rocket their way into the sky with astonishing 462 miles per hour, a speed which is pretty much close to make your mind blow away with shock!
Our jaws dropped to the floor as we watched this RC jet plane with a weight of just around 7,5 Kg, powered by kerosene fuel as it fiercely slices its way through the air, blasting past all the cameras and makes a name of itself with a brand new world Guinness record. This is not Herbrich’s first time to enter the Guinness book of world records. Back in 2013 Niels set a world record in Ballenstedt Germany with the same RC turbine jet achieving speed of 440 mph. Now he’s back with even better!
If you get to see it in person sometimes, we would advise you not to get too close to the action because, at such speed, we would be inclined to believe that this wild RC thing could cause some serious damage.
This is truly an impressive RC aircraft but we also got to give a shout out to the person who filmed it for keeping it in shot.
Damn that thing is fast! Very impressive flying! Enjoy watching the terrific RC show friends.
