Usually, when a new model emerges, the previous one fades away. Well, that`s not the case with the coming of the SRT Viper. It looks like the older “brother”, Dodge Viper, never stopped getting the most of buyers` attention. Racing Solutions decided to give some upgrades to the fourth-gen beast.
There are two diverse set of upgrades offered. The price varies from $34,950 to $74,950. The RSI Twin Turbo Street Systems adjusted can boost the engine’s power to 750 ear-wheel horsepower on the stock engine, 1,000-plus horsepower at the rear wheels on regular gas, and, what is even more grand, 1,100-plus rear-wheel horsepower on racing fuel. The basic fourth-gen Viper has 8.4-liter engine, which produces 600 horsepower and 560 pound-feet of torque.
The RSI Twin Turbo Street Systems feature a pair of 62 mm Presision turbos including blow-off wastegates, piping, and valves; whereas the Racing Solutions Fuel System features triple fuel pumps, RSI injectors, braided fuel lines, billet fuel rails, custom wiring and an engine management system update.
If desire, the purchasers can get an RSI blueprinted and balanced shortblock with connecting rods, a custom crankshaft, pistons, camshaft, wrist pins and spiral locks, head studs, and bearings. Additional tuning options include RSI cylinder heads, valve springs, T&D roller rockers, oversized valves and ported intake.
