Chrysler in cooperation with the resident tuning house, Mopar Underground, introduced a bunch of vehicles at the 2011 SEMA Auto Show in Las Vegas.

The major vehicle at the show was the Dodge Challenger SRT8 ACR, inspired by the Challenger SRT8 392 and the Viper SRT10 ACR. The model underwent various performance and aesthetic upgrades. It is undeniable that the SRT8 ACR left the huge crowd breathless.

The roof is charcoal painted; along the length of the car, there is a flame red stripe running. Further touches are a rear deck lid, a carbon fiber hood, a rear spoiler and tail lamp surrounds, a red “ACR” fender badge, red painted mirror caps, a set of 20″ black five-spoke alloy wheels, and matching brake calipers.

The rear seat bench was supplanted with a roll bar and a fire extinguisher. The fiber door panels are made of carbon fiber which makes the vehicle much lighter. There are bucket sport seats with special racing harness openings, an SRT gauge cluster, an SRT three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, a custom bright pedal kit, a carbon fiber center console finish, and Mopar Drag Pack center stack.

Further betterment that Mopar added to this model is a new coil-over suspension, short-throw shifter, front-and rear-strut tower braces, front splitter, custom exhaust headers, and cat-back exhaust.
