It is so because the Tesla wasn’t meant to be the race car and it should be driven on the city streets only. But it is the Tesla racing channel that wants to prove this car is a racer as well and they have gone a long distance to show it.

Now the Tesla gets to race against the Porsche 911 Turbo S which has already proven to be a good racer. It costs around $180 000 and for this money you are getting the 3.8 L TT 6 cylinder engine. It is able to place out around 480 HP on the wheels of the car. It is a little bit lighter than the Tesla model but we will see what is going to happen next.

The driver of the Tesla racing against the Porsche is quite the confident type. Before the race he says that there is the surprise coming and he was so right. At the launch the Tesla was in the lead but after three or four seconds the Porsche got its mojo on and it went straight ahead. Then there was the curve coming and the driver also though that he is going to win here. But as we know the 911 is quite capable of taking the curves at high speeds and this is exactly what happened.
