There have been many doubts as to whether the Acura NSX should be resurrected. Finally, a decision has been made. The Japanese automaker exhibited this magnificent vehicle at the North American international Auto Show. Acura stated that the NSX production will be on for the next three years. The team in charge will be Honda R&D of America, and the main workshop is placed in Ohio.
The main features of this 2-seater Acura are the mid-engine placement and its highly contemporary sleek design. The established impact is similar as to the one the 1990 version had years ago.
The latest upgrade is trapezoidal-shaped grille system. There are additional inlets at the opening which may serve as chin spoilers. Moreover, the car has a glass roof.
The wheelbase is 101.4 in. which amounts up to 170.5 in. In height it equals 45.7 and 74.6 in. in weight.
This grand vehicle will run on a mid-mounted 3.5-liter V6 engine which produces more than 310 horsepower.
Another extremely important thing about the Acura is its iteration of Super Handling All Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) which will be tuned to hybrid power use. This will make the car exceptionally easy to handle. In addition, there is a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox. The rear wheels will be driven by a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox. Additional 100 horsepower will be run by two front-mounted electric engines packed in a lithium-ion battery pack.
It is believed that the car would hit 60 miles per hour in just 3.0 seconds. Its production version is supposed to be priced $100,000.
