Marcus`s first bike was a Yamaha RD350LC, which he purchased at the age of 18. He knows every feature that makes Yamaha unique. In 1992, Marcus had a serious accident while Moto Cross racing. Marcus invested the money he obtained from selling the machine into a bike-lift and a set of tools. Thus, he formed the Walz Hardcore Cycles.
Marcus is Europe’s most popular bike builder; his products have appeared in more than 600 magazines and on more than 60 magazine covers. He won the Discovery Channel’s hit show Bike Build-Off back in 2006.
The hyper modified VMAX model is one of his latest creations described as a bike “designed for visual stimulation, balancing aggression and aesthetics.”
Marcus chose Yamaha as it has been the world bike leader from 1985. In 2008, Yamaha underwent a restoration process where its success yet again peaked as once before.
