The official wrapping-off was at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show.

This model is not the “Corvette,” but rather the boldly-said “New Corvette.” The “new” does not just stand there for nothing. This “Vette” is indeed brand new! There is a new design, new powertrain, and a new interior.

The car is equipped with an optional performance exhaust system. It produces 460 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 465 pound-feet of torque at 4,600 rpm, whereas with the standard exhaust system, there are 455 horsepower and 460 pound-feet delivered. Moreover, there is a Magnetic Ride Control and Z51 performance package, and Performance Traction Management.

To Chevrolet, the 2014 Corvette Stingray represents “the most fuel efficient sports car on the market.”

The front end reflects a brand new design, which gives the car the required aggressive look at a certain point. Moreover, there are industry-standard LED daytime lights added. Judging by the front, this `Vette strongly resembles the SRT Viper. However, we cannot attribute the same thing to the rear end.

When it comes to the rear, it is all adjusted with tailpipes and vents. If the front is aggressive, wait to go a little bit back to see the real aggressive thing this car features. The quadruple taillights are practically Corvette-traditional. However, the trapezoidal shape comes from the Camaro.

Mentioning other manufacturers, the Corvette has components imported from Nissan GT-R and Ferrari.
