`52 Mercury Woodie Station Wagon Restored

`52 Mercury Woodie

The abstraction of wood as a structural element in vehicles dates from the 50s right when Ford along with its Lincoln/Mercury departments officially closed the Iron Mountain facilities. The wooden touch continued to be desired though.

Here we have a classic `52 Mercury “Custom Series’ Wagon stuck in the transition from wood to chrome. It is Gordon Buehrig`s perfect design.

It is powered by a V-8 engine; its curb weights 3,800lb, and it is priced at approximate $2,700.00. It is equipped with a clock, radio, and environmental controls.

Examine the below posted video which shows the pre-restored condition of this Woodie.
