This 1957 Bel Air Convertible, purchased back in 1966 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and priced at $1,100.00, is Richard Achron`s proud possession. He is the third owner of this Chevy.
Firstly, this convertible had a 283 c.i. engine which was supplanted by a limited edition of 383ci crate one; whereas the Borg Warner Tio ratio transmission by 700R4 Transmission w/Custom stage II Torque Converter. Now the car runs up to 460 horsepower.
The front bench seat was removed. Instead, a pair of glide engineering buckets was adjusted. Moreover, a Vintage Air AC heater was installed under an ididit column. A high power aluminum radiator keeps everything cool.
