The roofless Acura TL became Newport Convertible Engineering product. The first convertible product by NCE is the Acura NSX followed by Jaguar XJ and Toyota FJ Cruiser.

The TL will be finished in six weeks time, and there is a five-year warranty by NCE, not taking the Acura warranty in consideration. The car is furbished with the regular trunk space, sun visors, and rear seat belts. If wanted, the B-pillars can be cut out.

In future, there are plans for converting of 2013 Range Rover, Supercharged Autobiography, Cadillac XTS, and Porsche Cayenne.
