Furthermore, the steering wheel and seats are factory plastic wrapped. The pre-auction estimation was around $600, 000 and $700, 000. This makes this Boss the most expensive in the world.

However, the auction did not meet Mecum`s expectations. The muscle was sold at $550, 000; a price that does not make it No. 1 most expensive Boss. Barrett-Jackson`s Scottsdale auction in 2007 keeps the record by selling the Boss 429 for $605, 000.
