The Audi R8 e-tron features two electric motors powered by a 48.6 kWh battery. They produce 280 kW (380 hp) and 820 Nm (604.80 lb-ft) of torque. In just 4.2 seconds, the car hits from 0 to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) and accomplishes top speed of 200 km/h (124.27 mph).

The weight of this super car is 1,780 kilograms (3,924.23 lb). Its body is 23 kilograms (50.71 lb) lighter than the R8 Coupé`s body construction. That makes the Audi 199 kg (438.72 lb). The ASF principle (Audi Space Frame raises its quality even more.

Furthermore, Audi introduced even a lighter version construction technology known as a Multimaterial Space Frame, built of carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) supplement.

There are two alternatives offered for the battery charge: One hour charge with direct current cuts and a twelve hour full charge with domestic mains 230-volt alternating current.

The Audi R8 e-tron is furbished with classy CFRP surfaces, Alcantara and soft leather. There is a CFRP chassis for the sport bucket seats. A seat weighs 17.6 kilograms (38.80 lb). The battery charge level and coolant temperature are shown in the LED strips.

The Audi R8 e-tron presents a high-resolution display digital interior mirror of 6.8 inches diagonally, in AMOLED technology (active matrix organic light emitting diode).
