The 2014 Dodge Durango Special Service Vehicle is ready for work after it underwent certain updates one of them being the notable 15-percent improvement in fuel economy.Chrysler revealed that this vehicle is especially designed for police and fire departments.
It hits a 600-mile range due to the addition of an eight-speed automatic transmission. Under the hood, there is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8, which produces 360-horsepower and can tow up to 7,400 pounds.
Till now, it is unknown whether the Durango SSV will be available for ordering. This is the third service vehicle manufactured by the Chrysler Group. Other companies that produced service vehicles are the Dodge Charger Pursuit and Ram 1500 Special Service.
