Ladies and gentleman get ready to introduce you to the new vehicle that will cruise on Mars, Duramax Sand-Rail! Yeah, it looks like it is made for out of space traveling. This Duramax Sand-Rail is the king of the sand races!

It is handmade vehicle powered by Duramax engine mounted on the back. And as you can notice the light weight body is nothing comparable of what this Duramax 6.6-liter V8 engine is capable of. Just to mention that produces 397 hp and 765 lb-ft of torque.

It can cause a sand storm in the deserts! Yeah, massive engine caged in small light weight frame, it can does miracles around, but honestly it still doesn’t look like finished project, but the guys at Merchant Automotive wanted to warn us what to expect when the prototype will be ready.

Just watch the amazing start on the sand, what the torque of the engine is doing and the fact that they still haven’t got perfect traction control on the paddle tires, we admit, this is scary machine!
