At First I Thought COOL CAR, But WHAT IT DID NEXT Made My Jaw Drop. Wow!

At a conference in Vienna, the Slovakian company AeroMobil s.r.o. unveiled its prototype, the first flying car AeroMobil 3.0. The machine is able to accelerate on the ground to 160 km/h and in the air โ€“ up to 200 km/h or more.

For takeoff the AeroMobile 3.0 needs 50 meters of open space โ€“ not necessarily the asphalt, since it can take off also from a surface covered with grass.

The flying car is designed so that it is suitable for driving on normal roads. It is also possible to park it in the parking lot of normal size.

This aircraft has been developing for 25 years. It is now undergoing through flight tests. The development is led by the designer ล tefan Klein, who had previously worked in companies such as Audi and BMW.

A flying car is also developing the US company Terrafugia. More specifically, this machine is a roadable aircraft labeled Terrafugia TF-X. The company intends to begin deliveries in 2015-2016.

Watch this beautiful high-definition 1080 p video showing the gorgeous AeroMobil 3.0.

I wonder if this vehicle will be affordable for everyone ๐Ÿ™‚

What they don’t tell you is, you will need a pilots license as well as a driver’s license to purchase this vehicle here in the states! Ah….didn’t see that coming, did you?

    1. Mac ( Post author )

Damn! That’s too bad ๐Ÿ™‚ Well, we’ve got enough time to get a pilot’s license ๐Ÿ™‚

    2. ian

Well since you will be flying i don’t see your point??? Or maybe it was a dumb point to begin with…

    The world is gonna change.

    1. Mac ( Post author )

Indeed it will Anon…What do you think cars will be like in the future?

L:ove, and would love one, I have car and pilots licence – so that’s one hurdle over – but getting it past UK regulatory bodies is another. I think they would have kittens! ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m glad you liked this article Adrian :). Why would the UK regulatory bodies have problems with this flying car?

Maybe you can fly within a designated zone. Cross border will not be allowed as you don’t have landing rights.

The flying roadster is ready to be tested in real flight conditions, after getting certified by Slovakiaโ€™s Civil Aviation Authority. The co-founder of the company, Juraj Vaculik, said:
โ€œWhat people need to know is that certification can take years and tests can take a lot of time. We are ready to start and if we have to change the headlights because of the angle how they beam, weโ€™ll do what we need to. But I think what we have now is pretty close.โ€

I’ m very curious to find out how things will turn out in the future ๐Ÿ™‚

Absolutely beautiful isnt it great to be alive in these changing times to see things fifty year ago people thougt was science fiction

I totally agree with you Roy. Incredible invention indeed ๐Ÿ™‚

This flying car still need extra refining before it hits the road or the air.

    1. The wheels are not protected or covered up in flight. The cold air could probably kill the rubber when you’re flying. Also, wind drag from the exposed wheels made the vehicle not very aerodynamic, which wastes fuel.

    2. The rear propeller isn’t protected. You can’t park in public places as the propeller could easily hurt a curious child.

If the two conditions above were fixed, I’d think this vehicle would be more feasible for the road.

    1. Mac ( Post author )

Great thinking Tony. I’m sure the designer of this car could use your suggestions.

Yeah looks and sounds awesome but I think until someone comes up with a type of fuel that will work good and not hurt our world this aeromobil can not be a good thing to over produce, just seems like it’s too heavy to be eco friendly.

    1. Mac ( Post author )

I know what you mean Gilda. This is just the beginning, so maybe in the future they will upgrade the vehicle to run on eco-friendly fuel.

Most of you dolts can’t drive, now they want you at 200kph and a few hundred feet in the air, great idea!

    1. Mac ( Post author )

In a way you’re right Fred. This machine is probably best for experienced persons.

  10. Linda

great for dodgeing the cops. Looks like something for Mr Bond….. James Bond

    1. Mac ( Post author )

Who knows, maybe we will see it in some new James Bond movie ๐Ÿ˜‰

  11. Burhanuddin

Hats of guys…….u have made world a small place to explore by this innovation…….I can’t imagine how ul managed to find away for proper c.g and c.p in one box

    1. Mac ( Post author )

Thanks a lot Burhahuddin. I’m sure the maker of this incredible machine would be glad to hear that ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Mac ( Post author )

Haha, very possible Lep. I would love to see that kind of life.

  13. Al

Very nice, but has one huge handicap … one minor fender bender on the road and it is a write off as an airplane.

    1. Mac ( Post author )

No problem, we’ll use it for flying in the air only ๐Ÿ˜‰
