After GM introduced the brand new 2014 Corvette Stingray this year, Hennessey Engineering informed us about the planned new sports car tuning program that will level up the horsepower to 1,000.
The new tuning program is supposed to run from 600 to 1,000 ponies. If you do not feel satisfied with the offered 455 horsepower, feel free to run it up a little bit more.
Hennessey programs do not pay attention solely to the power, but they rather involve suspension, aesthetics, and braking.
Exterior-wise, the car has undergone some badge-body changes and an engine cover serial-number plaque.
The Hennessey Program will include some CarbonAero carbon-fiber body upgrades with a front spoiler, a large central vent on the hood more cooling and minimized lift, and a rear lip spoiler.
There are few tidbits in the standard HPE setup. There are carbon-fiber door sills and premium Hennessey floor mats.
For a little extra cash, you can go all in and have Hennessey install a customized full-leather interior, some carbon-fiber elements and a five-point racing harness.
There are four variants for the HPE kits: HPE1000, HPE800, HPE700, and HPE600. Thus the produced output equals 600, 700, 800 and 1,000 horsepower.
Moreover, the supercharger system is TVS2300. Under the hood, there is a 6.2-liter V-8 which establishes 600 horsepower at 6,300 rpm.
