Meet The COSMOTRON Car: British Designer Build His Own Sci-Fi Vehicle In The BACK OF HIS GARDEN!!!

After a year and a half of work, an individual decides to build his own futuristic car from a BMW Z3.

As if he had been inspired by one of those famous Hot Wheels toy cars we liked when we were kids, a man in England named Paul Bacon spent 18 months of his life to create what he calls the “Cosmotron Car”.

The really impressive (leaving aside the aesthetics of the car) is that under that futuristic look out of a caricature of the “Jetsons” is the structure of a BMW Z3 equipped with a 2.8-liter I6 engine which Bacon bought back in 1998.

“In the 60’s in the United States there were several cars with extravagant designs inspired by the Space Age,” says Bacon. “Well I remember as a kid I was always told that cars of 2000 would be like this, and they were not. So I took the decision to make my own. “

The 41-year-old Bacon was disappointed in the automotive reality that brought the year of 2000 and after a long program he was finally able to work on his own space car. What do you think of his creation?
