Nissan presented the ZEOD RC at the Le Mans this past summer. The ZEOD is a brand new hybrid racecar planned for the popular French endurance race next year. After four months, Nissan now has the final form settled at the headquarters of the Nismo racing division.

The updated Nissan ZEOD RC has been branded with improved aerodynamics and optimized cooling. It blends a pair of electric motors with a 1.6-liter turbo four. The braking system is regenerative developed from Leaf RC. This vehicle is able of making 11 laps plus one more round Circuit de la Sarthe under electric power alone. This makes it first racecar to ever have done so.

This weekend the ZEAD will be showcased at the Fuji Speedway during the six-hour FIA World Endurance Championship race there.
