Dodge Challenger I is without a doubt a legendary muscle car. The debut of the first generation was held in 1970. With the design of the models was engaged Carl Cameron, who also worked on the design of the coupe Charger. Dodge Challenger I was received quite well by the public after the premiere. This is evidenced by the number of cars sold in 1970 – 76 935 samples. But despite its popularity, the coupe was criticized by the press, and therefore the sales of the model fell.

The first generation of the Dodge Challenger has an image of a classic American car from the ’70s: stylish, powerful and reliable. Spacious interior for four passengers, including the driver. Dodge Challenger I had very successfully participated in the racing championships Trans American Sedan Championship. Specifically for the racing was built a limited modification of Dodge Challenger – Trans Am.
