Porsche 911 GT3 is currently the top car offered at Porsche`s market. This model is developed from scratch to celebrate the 911 anniversary. The transmission, engine, and chassis are brand new. This upgrade definitely gives greater performance.
The GT3 has new active rear-wheel steering, and specific GT3 dual clutch transmission.
Since 1999, 14, 145 GT3 cars have been produced. By far, Porsche is most satisfied with this exact model.
There has been specifically designed drive system and chassis for the 911 GT3. What`s characteristic this time is the active rear-wheel which is used for the first time. Among the others innovations, the Porsche includes fully variable rear differential lock which is electronically controlled. The all-aluminum chassis offers adaptation of toe, height, and camber. The forged alloy wheels of 20 inches produce optimal road contact.
A brand new engine was produced for the Porsche 911 GT3 with classical six-cylinder and Porsche Doppelkupplung dual-clutch transmission (PDK) has special 911 GT3 layout. Two modes are offered: adaptive shift program and manual shifting. The manual shifting is obtained through two paddles, the left is for downshift, whereas the right for upshift. The car can hit 475 hp (350 kW) at 8,250 rpm.
The Porsche Stability Management (PSM) is complemented by PTV Plus.
The GT3 wheels are lighter with only 20 inches.
The 911 GT3 does not Spartan, but rather sporty interior. It is equipped with Porsche Sports Seats Plus which contribute to mechanical length adjustment and raised side supports. The equipment is black consisting alcantara elements. Moreover, the elements are wrapped in leather and aluminum. There is instrument cluster with color display of 4.6 inches.
