RM Auctions happen slightly before the grand Pebble Concours d`Elegance. This event is not as big as the Pebble Beach, but they certainly encompass one of the best high-profile cars.
Last year, RM collected $94.5 million in sales, whereas the Pebble total was an amazing $260.3 million. It is believed that in 2013 the profit is going to be even higher. This year, the RM is supposed to take place in August 16/17th. It is believed that there will be above 100 lots and three boats.
The list of lots consists 1970 911 Porsche S22 instead of the previously exhibited 50-year-old Porsches. In addition, all sports car lovers can purchase the 1963 Corvette Stingray and 1970 Shelby 350 GT.
Prewar cars? A definite yes. The list starts from the 1931 Stulz DV32 Convertible Victoria to 1928 Mercedes-Benz 680S Torpedo Roadster. As top-listed is the 1935 Hispano-Suiza K6 cabriolet.
Further on the list which are worth mentioning are 165 Bizzarrini 5300 GT, Tatra T87, and 1958 Facel Vega 4 Sport Coupe.
The three mentioned boats are the following: the American 1955 Guess-DeSoto F4 and 1938 Ventnor K-2 Runabout.
