Instead he can just watch some movie or surf the net looking for pictures of beautiful babes! What an awesome job! Of course, he can get behind the wheel at any moment if he wants to feel the road beneath him again!
The security of the ride is assured with a system of cameras and sensors called Highway Pilot system, watching and scanning the road every few milliseconds!
The Mercedes-Benz Future Truck 2025 uses radar sensors, cameras, satellite navigation, as well as the information exchange system between the car in the stream. All this together allows this truck to move along the route without a the driver – the robot has been tested on the roads in Germany.
Intelligent transmission reduces fuel consumption, calculating the optimum acceleration and deceleration, as well as improving the safety.
Where are it’s headlights? Since when did it become so important to hide everything from the front of the vehicle? It’s faceless to the point of being just dull…
