The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rated the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray at 30 mpg hwy in Eco mode.
The C7 will do 29 mpg on the highway and 17 mpg in the city in normal mode. The greatest advantage is that it runs even faster when set on Eco mode. To activate the Eco mode on Active Fuel management, the seven-speed manual gearbox should be activated. Thus, while light engine is loading, the four of the cylinders are powered off.
The automatic transmission version has enabled Active Fuel Management in all drive modes. It can be turned off once the manual shift is used.
