The Frankfurt Motor Show this year will exhibit the Wrangler Polar limited edition. This model`s production is inspired by the Wrangler Unlimited model. Exterior-wise, it was Hydro Blue exterior finished. A body-colored hard top and one-of-a-kind 18-inch shiny black rims have been adjusted to it, as well as a line of Mopar accessories. The front fender flares distinguish 78° S and 106° E coordinates which indicate to the place with the most freezing temperatures recorded ever, Vostok, Antarctica, which is -98.2 degrees Celsius (-128.56 degrees Fahrenheit).
The Europe`s market offers a two-door and four-door model. Under the hood, there is a 2.8-liter CRD turbo-diesel delivering 200 HP (147 kW) at 3,600 rpm. The total torque is 460 Nm (339 lb-ft) reached somewhere around 1,600 and 2,600 rpm. There is a 5-speed automatic gearbox. If wired to the six-speed manual, the engine runs 200 HP and 410 Nm (302 lb-ft) at 2,600 and 3,200 rpm.
Standard tidbits are: cruise control, leather steering wheel, heated front seats, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, and automatic climate control. Other configurations that are not included in the price are: front side airbags, DVD player, and a 6.5-inch Uconnect featuring 40GB HDD, USB/AUX port.
