WATCH The FORD MUSTANG 1 CONCEPT At The Henry Ford Museum! WHERE IT ALL STARTED…

Back in the 1960s when the original Mustang was born many things were different than now. The design and the engine were completely different. We don’t refer to the unique muscle car design with four seats in the middle and V8 engine, completely the opposite!

What we mean by this? The era of Mustang started in 1962 in a completely other direction, V4 powered speed roadster named as Ford Mustang 1 Concept. If you had the opportunity to visit the Henry Ford Museum then you know what we are talking about here.

But what surprised us so much was the first contact with the flair design, like the body is glued to the ground and pretty much reminds of a space ship, design which has nothing in common with the traditional pony car.

But there is a lot more mystery behind and we would be glad to let the Ford historian, Matt Anderson tell you the original story about the brand and how Ford Mustang 1 Concept transformed itself into the most remarkable car on the US Continent.

Play the video below and enjoy the story. By the way tell us your opinion on this, is this was a better direction for the Mustang evolution through the decades  or you don’t like to change anything on the today’s model?
