Who would have thought that the C32 AMG would even get in a race against the monster of a truck, the Dodge Ram with the Cummins 5.9L diesel engine inside? Well this is a driver that wanted to prove that he can drive and that his vehicle is much faster. We are all about proving things and that’s why we like this video a lot. The great thing that happened here at the beginning of the street race is that the Cummins had the AMG at the start like a boss. It is the torque that is responsible for the pull out of the zero per hour. The Mercedes-Benz C32 AMG doesn’t have that number at the torque sheet and that’s why it was left behind.

Only when reaching the 100 mph mark on the gadget the AMG caught up with the Dodge Ram Cummins diesel 5.9L and then passed it. The driver of the Dodge knew that sometime after the start of the race he would have lost it anyway but he showed to the AMG who is the boss at the launch. The 2004 Mercedes Benz AMG could only dream about that strong pull that the Cummins has, launching the truck forwards with a lot of advantage.

Maybe the difference between the drivers had its turn here too. Maybe the Mercedes C32 AMG driver wasn’t as skilled as the Dodge Ram Cummins driver and that’s why he lost at the launch. After the launch all that he had to do is to keep pushing the gas pedal and the speed would build up. Well not all are born for street racers but at least he had the courage to prove that he is up for it and he won at the end of it, no matter of the start of the race.
