So, first thing when looking at the car is the body paint, and then the eye goes to the rims. You need to be careful when choosing the color of the rims too, because it needs to go along nicely with the body paint to add up to the whole look of the car.

The first and most important step of painting the rims is to clean them in detail. This step is called degreasing, because if there is some grease or rust left on them the paint will just fall down and you will end up with uglier looking rims than you have started with.

The second step is to smooth the surface after the cleaning, so that when you paint them there will be no bumps sticking out of the paint. Be careful though, it is a tough and demanding task to do.
