We were in the mood today for some amazing Japanese drifting so we decided to show you some of this true delight. The first video is from this year’s edition of D1 Grand Prix, showing the Team Toyo Tires Drift performing in the first round. The drivers offered a hell of a show, with really intense drift battles.

The company Toyo Tire & Rubber announced that the team with new structure will be participating in the 2014 D1GP which started on March 29.  The team was significantly enforced with the coming of last year’s champion of D1GP Masato Kawabata who is racing behind the wheel of the monstrous Nissan GTR. This definitely paid as an excellent step since one month ago Kawabata won the D1GP exhibition match – 2014 D1 Grand Prix World Champions, which occurred at the Odaiba Special Course in Tokyo.

I’m not very good at Japanese, so I didn’t understand a single word that the commentator said, but one thing is sure – he was definitely crazy about the drifting!
