Sometimes you just have to have a big heart to do big things, and that goes for this “Stranger”
In 2010 after a police chase, a Deputy Officer of the Weld County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado was killed. So you can imagine how hard that was for his family, especially for his son. Since he was tragically killed his family tried to keep everything that belonged to him, as a reminder and memory of him. So on Thursday there was an auction where his old car was put up for sale to raise money for COPS, organization that helps the families of killed officers who were in the line of duty.
So Officer Brownlee’s son was there on that auction with the purpose to buy his dad’s old car, and he was almost certain that he will get the car since no one was bidding on it, but there was one “stranger” that bid on the car as well. So, after a short bidding war the stranger outbid Brownlee’s son and he purchased the car for $60.000, it was a Dodge Charger. But the most unusual thing happened; right after the stranger took the keys of the Dodge Charger he handed them over to Brownlee’s son as a gift to him.
You have to respect something like this.
