This is very intriguing question, isn’t it? For sure many times until now you heard the warning “Don’t put your legs on the dash, it is dangerous”, but honestly you have never considered this as a serious threat! We hope while you will read this story you never survived an accident while your legs were put on the dash!
The consequences are fatal and you will read what happened to Bethany Benson in 2010!
One day she was on the way back home in her mother’s 2002 Pontiac Sunfire while her boyfriend was driving the car. She decided to made herself comfortable and put her legs on the dash. What happened next was an unexpected accident which can happen to anyone so stay focused and read the possible injuries!
Suddenly, a transport truck pressed the brakes instantly and they crashed at the truck. The airbag opened (the opening speed of the airbag is 320km/h!) while her feet were still on the dash. While her boyfriend was virtually unharmed, from the slam of her knees directly in her face she suffered broken left eye socket and her cheekbone and nose, her jaw was dislocated, her both feet were broken which decreased two times smaller from the original size! But that’s not the worst, she suffered a traumatic brain injury and terrible brain-bleeding which decreased hers intellectual abilities of a 13 year old (she was 26 at that time). Her mother cannot retire as she planned on 55 as she planned because after the terrible accident the family is in financial mess and they need money!
Her mother hopes that sharing this story will prevent many people to avoid this awful injuries!
