We are more about raw power and freestyle drifting but drifting with strict rules can sometimes be more impressive than anything you’ve ever seen! Plus if Red Bull messed a few fingers there the excitement is endless but very tough for the drifters.

But it wouldn’t be so interesting if the rules of this event didn’t exist. Each wall of the tight drift track has sensors which are synchronized with custom made computer software which is counting the points. And here is the point where everything becomes messy!

The drivers must impress the sensors so the software can count as many points as possible! Also there is a semi-truck in the middle of the track with attached trailer on it where the drifters need to pass with drifting. Under the trailer is mounted a sensor which counts the speed and the closeness of the car.

It’s really amazing to see how the drifters are sliding with the tails of the cars almost kissing the side walls. But that’s not all, they have a precise car wash stop on which they need to enter with drifting. OMG, that’s the most exciting part of whole event and after they pass it they have 15 seconds to return back on the start line!
