The LS7 Camaro engine used in the 2015 Camaro Z/28 has made some noise and now it has come the time to get it out of the car and see it out in the open. Next to it there will be the Corvette Z06 engine as well, so that we can get the comparison, see all the differences between these engines and in the end we will take a school’s guess to judge the better engine here.
Who doesn’t like the Camaro Z/28 series and the LS7 engine that has been fitted under the hood? Well that’s why for all of you Camaro engine followers we are going to explain it in the best way that we can. Both of these engines are built in the Performance Build Center within the Corvette Factory down in Kentucky. There are professional workers that has been trained for this job working on the engines and there is NO room for error. The main characteristic about this factory is the following. Each engine has been built by only one person from start to the finish. Now would they do such a thing? Well it is better to know who assembled the engine if there is some mistake done and this ONE worker will be responsible for it. Clever isn’t it? So this means that all the workers in the factory know every bit of the Camaro engine and the Corvette Z06 engine as well.
It is all starting with the engine block which is going to be moved from station to station in order to take and place the correct parts in order on it. The bar code that is on the sheet will tell the worker which tools he needs for the process.
The build of the Corvette Z06 and the Camaro engine as well is painful job, and we think that the Camaro with the LS7 looks much better.
