When looking at buying a car or a truck, most people will give you the advice that the key element is for the average mileage on the vehicle to be around 12,000 miles each year. However, with this particular 2007 Toyota Tundra, a 12,000 miles mark is nothing but a walk in the park. Soon you are about to find out why.
In this episode the guys at The Fast Lane Car go in a depth review of this one of a kind 2007 Toyota Tundra with more than one million miles.
Toyota is really patting themselves on the back for this 2007 Toyota Tundra with 1 million miles in its driving history. The sick thing about this amazing feat is that the Tundra truck is only 9 years old. This is thanks to the an impressive 125,000 miles which the owner crosses every year delivering parts for the oil hardware business, towing equipment day in and day out, back and forth.
Because of that, those 1 million miles summed up in a relatively short time. From what we are told in the video, this 2007 Toyota Tundra has the original V8 engine under its hood, and although it was under the routine maintenance along its high mileage journey, the Tundra did quite a good job and is mainly original! We have to give major kudos to the Toyota company for making such a long lasting and reliable truck!
What’s even more interesting is the fact that after surpassing the 1 million mile mark, the people at Toyota decided it would be interesting to buy the Tundra back and do a thorough check to find out exactly how the truck stood up to that much of use and abuse.
Check out the video below and give us your thoughts of how this Toyota Tundra persistently endured the heavy path to 1,000,000 miles. That number is something which is almost unimaginable to most of us!
