Talk about a nasty Dodge Cummins! It was Day 1 of the Ultimate Callout Challenge event in Salt Lake City, in the state of Utah, and that means some killer dynos! Our buddy Shawn Baca and the team from the tuning studio Industrial Injection were there to lay down a truly impressive output of 2474 hp and 3240 ft.-lbs. of torque! Shawn is the engine builder at Industrial Injection, which is also located in Salt Lake City, so in a way he must have felt the pressure of defending the honor of his hometown.
It is not exactly a well-guarded top secret that for years now diesel engines have been capable of delivering an astonishing amount of both horsepower and torque as the tuning industry for them continues to boom on with explosive and unstoppable tempo.
Today, we take a look at this killer looking Dodge Ram truck powered by a Cummins engine under its hood, which has the juice enough to put such numbers to the dyno that will definitely make your eyes pop right out of your head like the good old Rodney Dangerfield!
