Many cars have left their engines and bones at the dyno pull test and this twin turbo Mustang is one of them. There was not too much pull shown from the car but as it turns out it was too much for the engine to take and it gave up there, at the most important test of them all. Well at least now the mechanic that was building the engine is going to have too much work in his hands and he must repair his mistakes. Or maybe it was not his mistake at all, maybe he placed a new part that was faulty from the factory.
There are too many parts that come out of the factory for modifying and tuning the car but they are faulty to start with. And you don’t know what you are mounting on the car when the engine is not running, after you put the car on the dyno then you will know what is going on.
This is a twin turbo Fox Body Mustang that just wanted to measure the HP of the twin turbo engine but here is what it is. No more measurements for the engine as it got blown at the dyno and now from the mechanic it is going straight to the mechanic again. And with bigger deal it is almost certain that the cylinders are now damaged too. One reason could be too much pressure coming from the twin turbos installed on the engine and too much PSI pumping in the block of the engine. That’s why the oil gasket will be blown too and the oil cap just flew off like it is a projectile or a bullet.
Too much is too much, and the twin turbo Mustang had its fun on the dyno, now after a month again at the garage will have the second try.
