Did you ever had that feeling that you made an unbreakable bond with something that is not even live? Well if you haven’t then Gene Ondrusek has surely made. He has made a bond with his lovely car a 1975 Lamborghini Urraco. It is quite an interesting story how this two met and what really happened. Gene first spotted the Urraco in the Dallas Morning news in 1987. It was put as an advertisement for sale. The seller described it as a car with 40,000 miles driven and with bad interior. All in all was a good price, because he immediately made a calculation, that it is a fair deal for him even with the repairs. So he bought it. He made the right decision. The Lamborghini Urraco is definitely worth having in your garage, especially when you know that it was made in a time when Lamborghini were competing with Ferrari. For this fact, the Lamborghini company had to make everything perfect, just to stay in track.

After driving only 25 miles, many things went wrong. The timing bell snapped that caused the V8 engine to eat 4 of its 16 valves. Then he realized that a full deconstruction would be needed for this vehicle and more money will be spent. He managed to repair it and make it more amazing than ever. He connected with this car in a way you can’t imagine. He even insists that passengers take off their shoes when they are driving in his Lamborghini Urraco. One thing is for sure, he is enjoying every moment with his car. He is appreciating what he has and for that we give him a big respect. Check out the video and see for yourselves!
