Check the Contract
No matter how friendly the agent may be or how trustworthy the company reputation is, you always need to read the contract, if there is a contract, in its entirety prior to signing. Keep in mind that a contract is generally created to protect the business and if you do not agree in full with all that it states, you should never sign one.
If anything is promised to you verbally and is not included in the written contract, be aware that those verbal agreements will not always stand true. When possible, get anything promised to you put in writing and signed by both you and the company representative.
