Ferocious Dirt Bike Hill Climb On A VERY “STEEP” Hill Here At Farmingdale, SD!!! HOW THE HELL Did He Do That?

The sound that is coming from a dirt bike hill climb is more distinguished from the other types of bikes. It is so because the dirt bikes don’t have the ability to carry the large exhaust pipes in order to minimize the sound of the engine. Even though the power output of these engines is almost the same as the stock Yamaha R1 the sound is so much more extreme and ear ripping. That’s why the races on the hill climb type are so much more exciting than the lap races. The sound that can be heard here on the race at Farmingdale, South Dakota cannot be heard anywhere in the world and that is such an adrenaline raiser. There are dirt bikes on this race that are carrying engines with more than 160 HP. That is too much for a dirt bike but the support bars are made strong on the frame and they will hold the engine in place.

The drivers that are racing on the hill climb with the dirt bikes must be very strong too. It is not an easy job to tackle the rocks on the hill every day and the steering is so hard while driving on rocky terrain at that speed.

Apart from the hard steering of the dirt bike the driver needs to be aware of the time. The time has been measured by the officials in the race and the best time together with the longest distance driven will give the winner of the race.

Going uphill is much harder than going downhill with the dirt bikes because there is a danger of flipping the bike over and even injuring the rider. That’s why the protective measures are always taken, the helmet is on the head and the bike gear on the body of the driver.
