4. Slammed Stance Hellaflush

To have a car’s clearance only few millimeters off the ground means that the suspension has to be a rigid system, without having any travel at all. The stiffer it is, the less capable it is to absorb bumps on the road.

Vehicles that have been lowered too much would either bottom out frequently (due to too soft suspension and not enough clearance) or would bounce while crossing every bump on the road (because of too firm suspension). In any case, you will have a ride with poor quality while your mechanical grip will be at minimum. The idea of hellaflush has been unsafe enough that the government in Quebec has banned its use.
