Being constantly on a search of increasing lower rpm torque to fit the mighty top end, Sawa San had come on the idea of completely new engine. But that was not the end of the road for him. First he ported and polished the head and went after a bigger diameter intake valves that would fit an HKS V-Cam Pro variable cam time system to the intake side of the engine. This resulted with a maximum torque response and smoother delivery which allows the driver a better usage of the performance abilities when he is out on the race track. Thanks to the massive Trust T 88 – 33 D turbine, engine delivers 850 HP and 650 pounds feet of torque. The cooling process is regulated by the ARC radiator and the twin Trust oil coolers and the N1 water pump and Tomei oil pump are there to keep all of the vital fluids circulating the right way.
There are also 6 Sard 1 000cc / min injectors in conjunction with two Bosch fuel pumps which are keeping the engine’s thirst for high octane juice. The gearbox is the same, employing the stock 6 speed Getrag transmissi on with an Exedy triple plate carbon clutch and a shorter 4.1 final drive. The driveline has been finished with an OS Giken Super Lock LSD at the rear and an ATS carbon one up front. For a successful engine handling there is the HKS F Con V Pro, together with lots of other hi tech gadgets. To put it as simple as possible, it is a pure enjoyment.
