The vehicle was almost completely stripped down, leaving only the chassis in its original form, adding a rollcage which has a smaller effect on the chassis’ torpor, simply because it is a smaller vehicle, compared to another which was not meant to be treated in a way to amplify its strength. It was a matter of a personal choice because the sanctioning body did not require a ’cage. Therefore, making a choice of the weight of the car down, Hideki kept most of the interior panels intact.
