His path from doing it for purely enthusiastic reasons to becoming a big time in the game started with tuning his friend’s cars and in a very short period of time, he became the true master with setting up carburetors. At the middle of the 80’s, along with his brother, he opened up the shop Auto Select and become known as the “go to a man” for the local street racers (called Hashiriya). Nowadays his shop Auto Select is probably the most recognized and respected amongst all auto shops in the land of the rising sun, having tuned almost every sports car made in Japan. And with his work on the GT – R, he had won countless of acknowledgments and they are going even further in the game with the update of the original R 34 GT -- R R&D machine.
