1961 Chevy C1 Corvette

The 1961 C1 Corvette is the first Corvette model that introduced the incredibly elegant four-round taillights, a unique feature which is still being used in almost every Corvette model. The engine volume remained at 283 cu in, but the power output of the two fuel-injected engines was increased to 275 hp and 315 hp. Also its debut in 1961 saw the new boat-tail design which was later used on the C2 Corvette.
