1969 Chevy C3 Corvette ZL1

The C3 Corvette was produced by Chevrolet between 1968 and 1982. This generation of Corvettes came with chassis components and engines mostly carried over from the C2 generation, but with a new body and interior. What made the 1969 Corvette model more special was actually the ZL1 option. In 1969 the ZL1 version came equipped with an all-aluminum 427 cubic inch big-block engine delivering 430 hp gross, and it made the ZL1 able to cross the 1/4 mile in 12.1 seconds. It is said that the ‘69 C3 Chevy Corvette ZL1 was the fastest production car ever built during that era.
