This year is the seventh in the production of the Chrysler’s Challenger model and it still far from becoming a best selling muscle car ever since the first unit came out of the production line in the factories in Detroit. It would not be an exaggeration if we say that the coupe model is in a desperate need for an update if they want to catch up with the competition. Therefore it is safe to say that the new (and supposedly improved) model which is set to come out next year, won’t come soon enough to fulfill the gaps. Yet, that does not seem to affect the aficionados of Challenger, especially when it comes to the models from the special edition.

And if you are one of them, you will remember that earlier this year there was an important momentum in Chrysler’s production when the reintroduction of the iconic model from the 70’s, with a shaker hood, 2014 Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker happened. This was followed with a success on the market, when only in 4 days 2 000 units were ordered (for which we wrote). And inspired from that, the company is reporting that a new and improved version of the Dodge 2014 Challenger is being launched with a similar success. That new version is Mopar 2014 Challenger and it is said that it has being sold even faster than the previous model.
